About Us

TK Array’s Story

TK Array was founded in order to provide a more community-centered option for First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities requiring technical consultation, science-based data collection, and project development. Unfortunately, the Traditional Knowledge of Indigenous Peoples is sometimes taken by contractors to be used for technical projects, but the fruits of these projects are not returned to the community whose knowledge guided the effort.

Our policy is to always keep Community Knowledge in the hands of the community, and strive to meet the needs of our partners with a high standard for project development and data collection, management, and reporting. We know we’ve succeeded when we’ve equipped our partners with the means to continue their projects without us – but of course we’re happy to lend support any time!
